Two Virginia State Police troopers are being recognized for saving a woman from a submerged car in a retention pond. The officers responded to a report of a woman who had driven off the road into a pond of eastbound Interstate 66 Sunday night. Police say the woman was trapped in her car. The two responding officers jumped into the pond and were able to get the woman out through the car's sunroof. Virginia State Police are still investigating the incident
