The Vice Provost at the University of Virginia has been tapped to head the Biden Trump transition. Stephen Mull is currently vice provost for global affairs at the university and is a former ambassador. Department spokesman Matthr Miller says the department has not yet been contacted by the Trump team, but they will be putting together information on policy and procedures for the transition. Trump is set to be inaugurated into office on January 20th, 2024 at the U.S. Capitol.

Fairfax County Public Schools have removed the book "Queer: A Graphic History," by Meg-John Barker. The parent who initially complained about the book says the book included an illustration of a sexual practice that reverses traditional male and female roles. The parent says she, nor the public or LGBTQ community was notified of the book's removal.
