Speaker Don Scott tells WAVY he was scheduled to speak to Legal Studies students at First Colonial High School yesterday morning, but was denied entry into the school. He said his scheduled talk had been canceled from school administrators due to Scott not being property vetted. Scott tells WAVY he felt the denial was a slap in the face. Virginia Beach City Schools released a statement saying there was a miscommunication yesterday morning. They said they are working to resolve the concern. There is no word yet on if the talk has been rescheduled.
