A woman in Suffolk is facing more than 121 animal cruelty charges. Thirty-three year-old Ashley Brinkley was arrested April 6th. Suffolk Animal Control seized 19 dogs, 11 puppies, 15 cats, and two kittens at her animal rescue. Police say the animal cruelty charges stem from evidence of animal torture, inadequate food and water at the rescue, and not having adequate space for exercise and care of the animals.
