A 13-year-old boy and his mother are facing charges after a domestic-related shooting incident at a hotel in James City County. The shooting following an argument between the teen and the victim, a 40-year-old man who was critically injured. The boy has been charged with multiple offenses, including aggravated malicious wounding and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. 13 News Now reports that the mother was charged with child neglect and allowing access to firearms by children.
