Rocio Rivera has more.Preview: The Salem City Council has voted to approve a rezoning request to build more homes. The council voted unanimously Monday night to let a developer build about 70 homes. The developer, ABoone Real Estate, tells WDBJ the city of Salem has been struggling to build new homes for the past 20 years and they're excited to help Salem grow. They say the project will take about three years to complete and homes will be priced at about 400-thousand dollars.
