Police in Prince George County say they have found at least 10 credit card skimmers at various convenience stores. They say criminals are placing the card skimmers at convenience and discount stores. Police also say the thieves have been targeting stores in high traffic areas. Several skimmers have been found in Temple Hills, Forestville, Oxon Hill, and the Beltsville areas.
The Transportation Security Administration is reminding Virginians to make sure their driver's licenses meet federal requirements by this time next year. The TSA will not allow Virginians to board domestic flights or enter federal facilities unless their licenses are REAL ID-compliant by May 7th, 2025. Those who choose not to update their licenses will be required to present another form of approved ID, such as a passport. Virginians can get a REAL ID-compliant license by going to the DMV and presenting their current license, proof of identity, proof of residency and their Social Security card.
