A cat rescue in southwest Virginia is already making plans for a new home after a destructive New Year's Eve fire. The operators of Nomadic Kitten Paws Rescue in Vinton say they were sheltering 48 cats and kittens before the fire on Tuesday night. Two of the cats died in the fire. Investigators say the fire was caused by discarded smoking material left inside a bathroom.
