As Virginians face a long stretch of subfreezing temperatures across the state, the risk of frostbite becomes a bigger concern.

National Weather Service Meteorologist Jim Lee also warns that skin exposure for as little as ten minutes can lead to frostbite. Officals are urging people to use extra caution when out and about as well as keep a little water running through indoor plumbing to keep them from freezing.  
 
 
Volunteers in Richmond are trying to keep Dr. Martin Luther King's legacy of service alive. Over five hundred people packed meals yesterday on MLK Day for those in need. A group called Rise Against Hunger organized the event at Hardywood Park Craft Brewery. An official tells News 6 it's mind blowing and amazing to see so many people deciding to give back.
