Officials at Norfolk International Airport say no one was hurt when a small plane suffered a mechanical problem yesterday. The landing gear on the plane collapsed while it was setting down on the runway yesterday afternoon. Takeoffs and landings were suspended while emergency crews responded to the scene. The pilot and his two children were unhurt. The airport reopened to traffic after the runway was cleared.
