Two projects in Petersburg could mark a turning point for the city. Governor Glenn Youngkin expressed optimism after visiting the city yesterday. He attended a groundbreaking ceremony for the Sycamore Grove Development. The former hospital will be transformed into apartments, offices and retail, including a supermarket. Youngkin also attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Hotel Petersburg. He says these two projects will help Petersburg fulfill its destiny to be the great city it once was.
