The governor's office is reporting a massive seizure of drugs since the beginning of October. Governor Glenn Youngkin says more than 550-pounds of fentanyl have been seized in 45-days across the commonwealth. The joint operation has resulted in more than one-thousand arrests and nearly 270 guns seized. The total amount of narcotics taken ended up being around 19-thousand-pounds.
The 11th US Circuit Court of Appeals in the Northern District of Georgia ruled in favor of Project Veritas [[ver-e-tahs]] in it's defamation case against CNN. A panel of 3 judges ruled that, "Veritas plausibly alleged that [CNN] statements were published with actual malice." Circuit Judge Ed Carnes wrote, "I never thought I’d see a major news organization downplaying the importance of telling the truth in its broadcasts. But that is what CNN has done in this case." The lawsuit will move forward in a federal trial court in Atlanta.
