The Salvation Army Central Virginia in partnership with the City of Richmond, has opened an Inclement Weather Shelter at 1900 Chamberlayne Avenue for adults aged 18 and older. The shelter will operate nightly from November 15 to April 15. The locaton accommodating 60 men and 40 women on a first-come, first-served basis. WRIC reports that the facility also houses a second emergency shelter for 50 men and a Community Resource and Training Center.
