A northern Virginia pilot has died after crashing his plane during a flight to New York. Forty-nine-year-old Seuk Kim of Springfield was reportedly flying three rescue dogs from Maryland to Syracuse, New York on Sunday. His plane crashed about 35 miles from his destination in visibility conditions described as poor. Kim died on impact along with one of the rescue dogs. The FAA and the NTSB are investigating the crash.
