The storm is causing problems on the roads. Virginia State Police counted over 150 crashes in Central Virginia as of last night. Over 20 of those crashes involved injuries. There's no word on how serious the injuries were. Statewide, VSP reports over 700 crashes with 70 injuries but no deaths.
There's a new place to get your day started off right in Petersburg. City officials helped cut the ribbon Monday on a new restaurant. Oldtowne Perks serves breakfast and lunch on North Sycamore Street from Monday through Saturday.
Disney is changing content warnings ahead of several old movies, including "Dumbo" and "Peter Pan." The movies current disclaimer that states the films include "negative depictions and/or mistreatment of peoples or cultures" will instead read "this program is presented as originally created and may contain stereotypes or negative depictions." The change comes amid an overall shift in Disney's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion policies.
