A man has died more than a week after he was hit by a car in Prince William County. Police say 56-year-old Jeffrey Wayne Holman was walking around a gas pump at a Woodbridge gas station when he was struck on March 16th. The police department announced Holman's death yesterday. The driver involved remained at the scene, but police say their investigation is ongoing.
More than two dozen Kohl's locations are closing. The retail chain originally made the announcement in January that 27 stores would close in April. Three locations in California, Massachusetts, and Virginia have already closed. This Saturday marks the final day of business for the other 24 stores.
Starting today, the Social Security Administration is enacting a policy change that will see it withhold 100 percent of any overpayments made to recipients. The withholding will last until the amount is repaid. Up until now, the agency had only withheld ten-percent of benefits to make up for overpayments.
