The TSA says officers confiscated a stun gun disguised as an iPhone from a carry-on bag at Reagan National Airport. Officers found the item at a security checkpoint on Monday. A TSA spokesperson praised the officers for making "the right call" by confiscating the item from the carry-on. TSA regulations say items like stun guns and tasers have to be secured in a way that doesn't allow them to discharge during flight. The woman who owned the item was cited and could face a fine of up to 15-thousand dollars.

Ford and Mazda are issuing do-not-drive warnings covering more than 457-thousand vehicles that contain Takata air bags. Ford's warning covers 2004 to 2012 model year vehicles that were part of previous recall campaigns. It also includes Lincoln and Mercury vehicles. Mazda's warning covers previously recalled model year 2003-2015 vehicles. Owners of the vehicles are urged not to drive them until the defective air bag is replaced. Twenty-seven Americans have been killed and another 400 injured by defective Takata air bags.
