The Virginia Department of Environmental Quality has lifted drought advisors for dozens of counties and cities statewide. The agency announced Friday that rain from the remnants of Tropical Storm Debby has eased drought concerns for much of the state. A drought warning is still in effect for the Shenandoah region, while a drought watch remains in place in the Big Sandy region.
