A Virginia animal shelter has been closed due to an outbreak of canine parvovirus. Dinwiddie County officials say four dogs at the county animal shelter have been diagnosed with the virus. The sick dogs are quarantined and receiving treatment, while other dogs are being vaccinated. The staff is also deep cleaning the facility. The shelter will remain closed until next week.
