The Brunswick County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that left two people dead. The sheriff's office says a man's body was discovered in the 100 block of Blue Bird Road in Dundas early yesterday. Deputies also found the body of a woman in the same area after they arrived at the scene. The bodies have been turned over to the medical examiner to determine their identity and cause of death.
A Norfolk man pleads guilty to burglarizing an ABC store twice in one night . Officials say 52-year-old Troyes Nigel Hunt was captured on surveillance video during both burglaries and later arrested for a different shoplifting incident. He has been charged with two felony counts of burglary and two misdemeanor counts of petit larceny. Hunt faces a maximum prison sentence of three years and seven months and will be sentenced on December 6th.
