One of the world's most well-known chefs will be opening a new restaurant at a casino in Danville. Gordon Ramsay plans to open Ramsay's Kitchen at Caesar's Virginia later this year. Fans of the chef can order dishes featured on his TV shows, like Beef Wellington and pan-seared scallops. The restaurant will also have regional menu items like Virginia oysters and lump crab cakes.
Walgreens says it will close 12-hundred stores over the next two years. The drugstore chain announced the cost-cutting move Tuesday while reporting fourth-quarter results. Walgreens has about 87-hundred locations nationwide and at least 100 stores in Virginia. About 500 Walgreens will be closing next year. It's unclear exactly which stores will be affected.
