The U.S. Supreme Court ruled in favor of Virginia's request to purge non-citizens from state voter rolls. Not surpringly, Election Law Blog dot org reports that the vote fell along party lines with Republican-appointed Justices voting to allow the purge and Democratic-appointed Justices dissenting. The justices were asked to decide if purging voters who self-identify as non-citizens from the voter rolls was legal this close to the election because of a federal law. Vice President Kamala Harris will be staying close to DC as vote totals roll in on election night. Sources close to the Harris-Walz campaign say the Democratic presidential nominee will be holding an event on the Howard University campus next Tuesday night. Harris graduated from the HBCU in 1986. University officials say classes will be held remotely on Monday and that the campus will not have any classes on Tuesday.
