A federal agency is helping investigate a store break-in in Henrico County. Surveillance camera footage shows someone driving a stolen car through the entrance at Knight and Pawn on West Broad Street Saturday morning. The store's manager says four thieves took dozens of guns, but no one was hurt as the store was closed at the time. He also tells 8News the ATF and county police are investigating.  
 
 
A student at Virginia Commonwealth University is set to become the first person in America to earn a Ph.D in pharmaceutical engineering. VCU launched the nation's first pharmaceutical engineering Ph.D program in 2020, with Nadia Tasnim Ahmed as its inaugural student. Originally from Bangladesh, Ahmed pursued her interest in medicine through various degrees before joining VCU's program. After graduation, she aims to work as an analytical scientist in the pharmaceutical industry. Ahmed's advisor praised her as a standout graduate student, highlighting her curiosity, persistence, independence, and fearlessness.
