A Sterling volunteer fireman is not being forgotten. A vigil was held Sunday marking one year since Trevor Brown was killed in a house explosion that also injured 13 others. Residents of the community rocked by the propane blast and Brown's former colleagues gathered at the site to remember his dedication and sacrifice. The property is being turned into a memorial park named in Brown's honor that will open to the public this summer.
