Virginia state park officials have announced that Claytor Lake is ready for the summer season after cleanup efforts following Hurricane Helene. Debris removal below the water's surface was completed in January. The Friends of Claytor Lake, along with other organizations, removed around 135 acres of debris. Pulaski County tourism officials are looking forward to welcoming visitors for a summer full of family fun.
