Turtles currently living in a Fairfax city pond are about to get a new home. The city is about to begin a year-long project to drain and dredge Ashby Pond. But first the turtles currently living in the pond will be trapped and relocated to ponds in Manassas. A spokesman for the city says new turtles will eventually populate Ashby Pond when it reopens next year.
