Companies are still cutting jobs after a wave of layoffs last year. Paramount is laying off 15-percent of its employees. Tesla, IBM, Google and Dell also cut jobs since January. Big Lots is closing more than 300 stores, about a quarter of its locations in the U.S. The move comes after the chain warned that ongoing financial issues put it in "substantial doubt."
