A teen has died after being shot during a fight in Spotsylvania County. The county sheriff's office says 19-year-old Christian Whalen was attempting to break up a fight early Sunday morning when he was shot. Eighteen-year-old Kenneth Watson of Caroline was arrested and charged following the deadly shooting, which is still under investigation.
A sitting Loudoun County judge is learning first-hand what it's like to be on the other side of the law. Leesburg police arrested Charles Koehler Junior early Friday on suspicion of public intoxication. He was apparently having trouble ambling down the Leesburg Bypass near South King Street. Koehler was later released on his own recognizance.
