Henrico County crews worked to distribute water throughout the system after acquiring it from south of the Richmond Raceway area. Water service has been restored to some areas west of Mechanicsville Turnpike, with efforts ongoing to restore service further east. 10 On Your Side reports that residents can access water through bottled water and tank trucks at designated locations, but must bring their own container.
A man in Norfolk was sentenced to one year in prison for eluding police in a stolen car. The incident happend when the man refused to stop for police after they attempted to initiate a traffic stop. The pursuit reached speeds of up to 55 mph and ended when the man crashed into a shed. 10 On Your Side reports that Andre Joseph Taylor, pled guilty to felony eluding and will serve one year in prison with another year suspended.
