Authorities make an arrested in connection to the Danville restaurant homicide. Danville Police arrested 28 year old Khaleel Rodgers, Jr. in connection with a killing at Ten 10 Restaurant and Lounge. Rodgers surrendered and is charged with second-degree murder among other charges. The victim, 33 year old, Damion Reed was shot and killed during the incident. Two others were injured. Rodgers is currently held without bond.
Roanoke College has announced a new ROTC program starting in the 2025 academic year. The program will be a four-year course that can be combined with a major at the school. WFXR reports Military Science courses will be taught on campus, and cadets will participate in joint training exercises with Radford University cadets.
