Authorities say a 38-year-old Maryland man will be answering charges for soliciting a teen for sex at the Spring Hill Metro station in Tysons. Logan Farrell is accused of offering a 15-year-old money for sex and illicit photos during an encounter last month. The victim told their parents and they immediately contacted police. Detectives say Farrell was known to frequent the Spring Hill Metro station and they're asking anyone else who may have been a target of his to come forward.
A second person has been arrested following a pursuit in Chesterfield County where a suspect allegedly fired multiple rounds at a police officer. The incident began when an officer attempted to stop a vehicle linked to thefts in the area. The passenger, Oscar Barrera, fled the scene but was later arrested and charged with various offenses.
