Deputies with the Norfolk Sheriff’s Office are investigating the death of a male inmate who collapsed in his cell and later died at a local hospital. The inmate's identity is being withheld until next of kin is notified, but officials confirmed he had been at the Norfolk City Jail since March 2023. WAVY reports that while the investigation is ongoing, no foul play is suspected in the inmate's death.
Lux the Skunk in Virginia has had a different prediction from Pennsylvania. The skunk predicted an early spring during a "Not So" Groundhog Day celebration at the Virginia Living Museum yesterday. Lux was able to make the prediction since Chesapeake Chuck is in hibernation. Punxsutawney Phil in Pennsylvania did indeed see his shadow yesterday, predicting six more weeks of winter. The museum also held other animal predictions. The museum's white tail deer have predicted the Philadelphia Eagles will win the upcoming Super Bowl.
