A man is dead after a shooting in Hopewell. It happened yesterday around a quarter-to-six p.m. on Sunnyside Ave. Hopewell Police say Tion Sturdivant was shot and taken to the hospital where he passed away. A suspect is in custody. The HPD hasn't named the suspect, announced charges or revealed a possible motive.

The incident occurred on March 1, and the 51-year-old man was found unresponsive and later died at the hospital.
