Governor Glenn Youngkin has signed a bill into law in Virginia that prohibits pharmacy benefit managers from owning or operating pharmacies, effective July 1, 2025. The move is part of the Save Local Pharmacies Act and aims to address concerns about conflicts of interest. A new development is bringing more homes to Roanoke County. A ground breaking was held last week for nearly 50 single-family homes in the Ridge of Fairway Forest neighborhood. The developer says the homes will start in the 500-thousand dollar range and are already up for sale. Ryan Homes and other local developers are working together on the project.
