About 5,000 students are set to graduate from VCU during several commencement ceremonies this weekend, but not all of them are happy about Governor Youngkin being the keynote speaker. WTVR-TV reports that both the school's NAACP chapter and a group called Not Welcome At VCU say nearly 800 people could walk out when the Governor takes the stage on Saturday. It comes over complaints of how pro-Palestinian protests were handled on campus last week. This week Governor Youngkin said that he thinks of the day as one of celebration and it's "misguided" for anyone to disrupt that.  
 
 
A woman is facing multiple charges in southwest Virginia after trying to escape arrest by ramming a state trooper's vehicle. Authorities began searching for 27-year-old Kati Villoch of Wytheville after she allegedly tried to break open a gun case at a Walmart store. State police located her vehicle Thursday, but she rammed a trooper's vehicle and drove off. She was caught after crashing her car, but made another escape attempt after slipping out of her handcuffs. Villoch has been charged with attempted capital murder, destruction of property, felony hit and run and eluding police.  
 
 
A lawsuit could disrupt plans to build a new baseball park in Richmond. Lawyer Paul Goldman has filed a lawsuit to stop the city's plan to pay for the Diamond District project. The city announced Wednesday it wants to issue 170-million dollars in bonds for the project, but Goldman says the burden of paying the debt service on the bonds will be solely on the city's taxpayers.  
 
 
A family physician says the reclassification of marijuana is good for Virginians but the feds should do more. Rebecca Hughes reports.
