Former President Trump is endorsing Virginia Republican Bob Good's primary challenger. In a social media post, Trump called Good "BAD FOR VIRGINIA AND BAD FOR THE USA," as he announced his support for Virginia state senator John McGuire, who has closely aligned himself with Trump. Trump's snub of Good, who chairs the conservative House Freedom Caucus, comes after the Virginia congressman endorsed Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for President. Early voting is already underway in the primary set for June 18th.
Two people, including a 15-year-old boy, were shot and killed in Richmond Monday. Richmond Police say a 14-year-old was also injured in the shooting that killed an adult and injured another adult as well. WTVR-TV reports that it happened during a large gathered in the Mosby neighborhood. There's no word yet if there are any suspects as the investigation continues.
