Someone riding an electric unicycle is dead after a crash in Chesterfield County. It happened yesterday afternoon on Route One. Police say the unidentified unicyclist was hit by a truck and taken to the hospital where they passed away. Police say the truck driver stayed at the scene, and no charges have been announced.
After an entire region of the commonwealth found themselves dealing with a regional water system failure, some are concerned that staff and officials are avoiding being held accountable. There could be another water service disruption in Henrico County. A water main break was reported yesterday while parts of the county are under a Boil Water Advisory. The break happened on Staples Mill Road. The Department of Public Utilities says repair work could affect this morning's commute. Meanwhile, county officials say water quality testing is underway, and the boil water advisory could be lifted as early as tomorrow afternoon.
