There's a chill in the air in Central Virginia this morning. The National Weather Service has a Cold Weather Advisory in effect until 10:00 a.m. Wind chills as low as one degree were expected overnight. The NWS is calling for highs today in the mid-20s.  
 
 
The cold weather is causing a spike at local shelters. Richmond reports both its inclement weather shelters reached capacity yesterday. At least one of the shelters was still allowing people to come in, though. The Daily Planet Health Services shelter on Marshall Street was letting people stay there even though all their beds were full. One man at the shelter tells CBS 6 little things like this make him feel blessed.  
 
 
A Richmond immigration lawyer says people are really scared about what President Trump may do. Since taking office Monday, Trump has signed executive orders focused on illegal immigration. Hyder Immigration Law Firm's Naureen Hyder says a lot of these fears can be quelled by understanding what is actually happening versus what the rhetoric is. She tells 8News it'll take a while for these executive orders to have an impact at the local level, but it's hard to tell people 'don't be scared.'  
 
 
As many Virginia cities and counties debate the pros and cons of data centers, one school system is set to increase special curiculums for students interested in cybersecurity.
