The Virginia House of Delegates is scheduled to vote today on ending state tax breaks for groups dedicated to preserving the history of the Confederacy. Virginia Beach Democratic Delegate Alex Askew sponsored the measure to eliminate tax exemptions for nonprofit groups like the Daughters of the Confederacy and the Sons of Confederate Veterans.
