This week, as many Virginians are trying to stay warm, Meteorologist are continuing to track the second winter storm predicted to hit going into the weekend. Katie Gray has the latest.Preview: Henrico County residents without running water have places to go to take a shower. The county announced yesterday it's making showers available at three public schools, starting today. You can go to Brookland Middle School, J.R. Tucker High School or Wilder Middle School. Showers and bathrooms will be available daily from 8:00 to 8:00 until further notice. You'll have to bring your own toiletries, though. Bottled water is also available. Showers and bottled water are also available 24/7 at the Henrico Sports and Events Center. Tanker trucks are also distributing water at the Eastern Government Center and the Eastern Henrico Rec Center. The county remains under a boil water advisory.
Progress is being made in restoring power and water, but the governor knows that's not good enough. Governor Glenn Youngkin said yesterday he knows people are angry, frustrated and tired, and relief may not come until tomorrow at the earliest. In the meantime, he has deployed the National Guard to help pass out water. Youngkin says he's also bracing for another serious storm this weekend. He tells Virginians 'we are in this together.'
