A woman is hurt after a fire in Petersburg. It happened yesterday afternoon at a home on Francis Street in Berkeley Manor. Petersburg Fire says an elderly woman was pulled from the home and taken to the hospital. She's in critical condition. Meanwhile, five people, including three children, are displaced. The Red Cross is helping. Investigators say the fire was caused by an electrical problem.  
 
 
Governor Glenn Youngkin is creating a special office to track the progress of relief and recovery in southwest Virginia. The governor issued an order earlier this week establishing the Office of Hurricane Helene Recovery and Rebuilding. Youngkin issued a statement saying the office was necessary to help coordinate long-term recovery and rebuilding efforts in the area.  
 
 
You may need to bundle up if you're leaving the house early this morning. The National Weather Service has a Frost Advisory in effect until 9:00 a.m. Temperatures were expected to drop to as low as 35 degrees overnight. That's cold enough for frost to form and harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. The NWS expects it to warm up to a high near 70 today.
