With the November Elections right around the corner, many of us are wondering the accuracy of polls.Preview: A woman is facing serious punishment for embezzling a massive amount of money from a Louisa County church. The Louisa County commonwealth's attorney says the 64-year-old stole at least 670-thousand-dollars from the unnamed church, where she worked for two-decades. It's possible the actual total could be more because the bank records only go back seven-years. She faces up to 280-years in prison when sentencing comes up in January.
A cell phone ban could be put in place in Richmond Public Schools. The district's policy committee was presented with a proposal yesterday to put the Virginia Department of Education's new guidelines into place. The rulings would ban the use of cell phones during the school day. They would be allowed on buses if headphones are being used.
