Virginia's governor is praising the decision of the U.S. Supreme Court after ruling in favor of the state removing 16-hundred self-identifying non-citizens from the voter rolls.Preview: A Nelson County man has been found not guilty of trying to vote twice during last year's election. Richardson Carter Bell, Junior told investigators that he voted early last year and then showed up at the polls again on Election Day. He called his second attempt to vote a joke and a test of election security. Bell praised Monday's verdict, saying local officials prosecuted him because of his vocal support of former President Donald Trump and criticism of President Joe Biden.
A Virginia Beach man says he was embarrassed last week when he was questioned about human trafficking after a flight on Southwest Airlines. John Kerrigan tells WAVY-TV he was flying from Denver to Virginia Beach with his teen daughter and one of her friends. He says flight attendants questioned the two girls every time he left his seat. He says he was then removed from the plane by airport police and questioned for 20 minutes before finally being allowed to leave. Kerrigan says he supports efforts to end human trafficking but called his experience horrible and humiliating.
Starbucks says it will stop charging customers extra for dairy substitutes. The Seattle-based coffee giant announced Wednesday the change will take effect November 7th. The move should save some U.S. customers more than ten-percent on their drinks. Starbucks also announced it's discontinuing its line of olive-oil infused drinks at U.S. stores.
