That's what Henrico Commonwealth's Attorney Shannon Taylor said recently. Otieno died last year while in the custody of Henrico deputies at Central State Hospital in Dinwiddie County. The commonwealth's attorney in Dinwiddie County charged ten people with second-degree murder, but only one went on trial, and he was found not guilty. Taylor criticized the Dinwiddie prosecutor for being unprofessional and for not investigating the case thoroughly. Taylor tells CBS 6 her office was never given the opportunity to investigate, and because of the statute of limitations, we'll never find out what really happened.
A new survey has found Virginians were among the most sleep-deprived on election night. The survey by HostingAdvice, says the state ranked fourth for most-sleep deprived state. It also lists Virginians as going to bed at 2:39 a.m. that morning. The survey also found about 29-percent of Virginians admitted that the election had affected their sleep. The state that ranked number one was New Hampshire with a bedtime of 4:06 a.m.
