Republican leaders are asking voters to turn Virginia red on Election Day. A parade of state GOP lawmakers and candidates spoke Saturday at former President Donald Trump's rally in Salem. The lineup included U.S. Senate candidate Hung Cao [[ cow ]], Attorney General Jason Miyares, Lieutenant Governor Winsome Earle-Sears and Governor Glenn Youngkin. Referring to the economy, Youngkin told the crowd, "Kamala Harris broke it, but Donald Trump will fix it." He asked the crowd to show up at the polls tomorrow to ensure that Trump wins the White House.  
 
 
A University of Virginia student is facing possible hate crime charges after an armed confrontation at a fraternity house. Twenty-year-old Robert Romer was arrested last week after he allegedly pulled a gun on another fraternity member. The other fraternity member reportedly told police that Romer had threatened him and committed several other assaults. Romer is facing multiple charges, including assault and battery and brandishing a firearm.  
 
 
For some employees who get paid every other week, November is a three-payday month. Matthew Goldberg with Bankrate says three-payday months generally happen twice per year and don't change your income. His advice is to budget for the typical two-payday month throughout the year so the extra paycheck feels more like a bonus.
