The National Weather Service yesterday released the snowfall totals from the storm. In Central Virginia, Chesterfield County got the most with almost six inches. Henrico County and Petersburg got five inches, Prince George County and Hopewell got four-and-a-half inches, Colonial Heights got four, Dinwiddie County got three-and-a-half, Hanover and Powhatan counties got three and Downtown Richmond, two-and-a-half.

The proposed legislation would mandate employers to offer paid time off for sick leave, allowing employees to accrue one hour of sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to 40 hours per year. While some business groups argue that the bill would increase costs having to pay the person out sick and their temporary replacement, the bill's author believes that it will benefit businesses by preventing sick employees from affecting productivity. WRIC reports Governor Youngkin has until March 24 to make a decision on the bill.
The Senate is adopting a budget resolution after pulling an all-nighter to get through all the amendments being tacked onto a GOP proposal. The so-called "vote-a-rama" began last night at the Capitol and Senate Democrats filed dozens of amendments in opposition to the budget plan. The resolution clears the path for Republicans to pass 340-billion-dollars in funding, including 175-billion for border spending and immigrantion enforcement.
