A Goochland County man is accused of trying to solicit a minor online. The sheriff's office announced yesterday Sandy Hook's Dean Patrick Jordan was arrested for soliciting a minor for sexual acts and to create child porn. The 65-year-old is being held without bond, and he's due in court Monday.
The state agency that oversees cannabis policy in Virginia is getting a new leader. The Virginia Cannabis Control Authority announced yesterday that Acting Head Jeremy Preiss is stepping down. They say it's not the first study to link high-salt diets and depression, but it is the first to offer a potential explanation for that connection.
