Two Virginia Republicans are joining other members of the GOP in opposing any cuts to the Medicaid program. Twelve Republicans sent a letter to party leaders in the House of Representatives on Monday. The letter said each member supports action that eliminates waste and reduces improper payments. But the group also opposed any cuts that would reduce Medicaid coverage to "vulnerable populations."
