A Richmond YMCA bus driver is off the job for allegedly driving under the influence. A letter from the YMCA to families stated that no one was harmed, but the driver was immediately fired. He previously drove routes for Manchester Family YMCA schools. There's no word if any students were on the bus at the time of the incident.

A northern Virginia congressman will not run for re-election next year due to ongoing health problems. Democratic Congressman Gerry Connolly announced yesterday that he will be stepping back from his duties as ranking member of the House Oversight Committee as he battles cancer. The 75-year-old said he was proud of what he was able to accomplish during more than 30 years in public service. Connolly was a member of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors for 14 years and has represented Virginia's 11th congressional district since 2009.  
 
 
The House of Representatives is taking a step to protect Americans from deepfake and revenge pornography. Lawmakers on Monday overwhelmingly approved the "Take It Down" Act, which provides protections for victims of non-consensual sexual image sharing and AI generated pornography. The bill, championed by First Lady Melania Trump, now goes to President Trump's desk. The Senate passed the measure in February.
