Two people are dead after a violent storm rolled through the DC area on Friday. Police say a woman died in Fairfax County when a tree fell on her car near Manor Drive and Pole Road in Woodlawn. Another person was killed when a tree fell on a vehicle on the George Washington Memorial Parkway just south of Alexandria. Both deaths are under investigation. Utility crews worked throughout the weekend to restore power to millions of customers following the storm. About a thousand outages were still being reported as of yesterday afternoon.
